So many things have happened since I last posted, wow! So, Kelly is back in school and doing well, he's never home, so he must be working hard! Business is trying to pick up! I have had family in town and there's more coming in 2 weeks. My grandma Black came out for the National DAV Convention, and my cousin Heather came up to see us/her at the beginning of her 1 month road trip. I cut my grandmas hair and I cut and colored her hair, so cute! More pictures to follow. I wish I had even more clients, but all in due time.
Liam is almost 9 months old, wow! Lillian is still growing, every time I turn around their clothes don't fit, thank goodness for gifted hand me downs! Heather and grandma left this last Tuesday. My siblings and I will all be together for the first time since my sister's wedding in two weeks. Robert is moving up North and James is going to help him. Robert will be here for about two weeks, then he'll be gone. Did I mention that Dewin is bringing my other beautiful niece, Shayla Rae, wohoo! I am sure that her and Lillian will have a blast, they'll be here for a week too. It's time like these that my parents are grateful for the house.
I have registered for school at CU Denver for the Spring. There's an on-campus school that will take toddlers as long as they are potty trained, here we come.... I am going back to finish a BA in History, it might take a while but dang it I'm gonna do it! My foreign language will be German, which will help me with the family history.
Maybe someone can help me...Why is it that some days housework seems to be the easiest thing in the world and it feels great to do it, then other days you'd rather venture to the depths of hades than do a sigle load of laundry or clean a toilet? I love to clean but when I have a 9mth baby that's screaming and cranky because he's teething and a daughter that doesn't want to potty train, no means of reward can seem to entice her, and she's yelling all day, I just really want to crawl back into bed and sleep for a week. I must be insane because even after all the "crud" that comes with being a mom, there's nothing in the world I would trade it for.
Anyways.... Lillian's been helping her grandpa plant trees and pull weeds this week, the yard is really going to be beautiful when mom & dad are done. I appreciate living here, but still there's so much space which means so much more to clean, yes my bathroom is huge, but it get so dirty and so fast, and the tile is white so it shows every little fleckle of dust. I was never that excited about having so much area, it just means that Lillian can make a bigger mess, and I knew that I would have to deal with that before I moved back in.... I really miss my small space in Utah, it was perfect for us. We were supposed to move back here whether I like it or not. Kelly is learning so much from my father it's really amazing. It's very humiliating and humbling to live with my parents but there is purpose. I would love to write more but I need to get off that soap box and ya'll have better things to do with your time ;) Hope all is well with our family and friends, later.
